Our Story

Bringing authentic kosher Mediterranean flavors to Myrtle Beach.

Owners Anna and Max Garby at Pita Bar Kosher in Myrtle Beach

Pita Bar Kosher opened on June 9, 2026 at 3001 N. Kings Highway, Suite I, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Co-owned by Anna and Max Garby, we bring certified kosher Mediterranean cuisine to the South Carolina coast — welcoming guests who keep kosher and food lovers discovering these flavors for the first time.

Anna & Max Garby

Anna and Max also operate the nearby non-kosher Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar. At Pita Bar, Chef Max and the kitchen team focus on fresh-baked pita, shawarma carved to order, house-made hummus and baba ganoush, and a fully stocked toppings bar — prepared under kosher supervision.

Certified Kosher Kitchen

Our kitchen is supervised by Rabbi Shlomo Elharar of the Beth-El Sephardic Congregation, ensuring that every item on our menu meets kosher dietary laws. We use certified kosher meats, dairy-free preparations, and carefully selected ingredients.

Fresh-Baked Daily

Our pita bread is baked fresh in-house every morning. That warm, aromatic goodness pairs perfectly with our hummus, shawarma, and Mediterranean dishes. You simply cannot get fresher than fresh-baked pita.
